Intermittent-occurring at irregular intervals; not continuous or steady
The texts were coming at intermittent in the middle of the night.
Ebb- gradually lessen or reduce
The cookie jar was ebbed away because of the other children.
Regress-return to a former or less developed state
They returned from the war in a regressed state.
Tendency-an inclination toward a particular characteristic or type of behavior
The children had a tendency to make trouble when left alone.
Antiseptic-of, relating to, or denoting substances that prevent the growth of disease-causing microorganisms
The antiseptic was working well on the disease around the area.
